Pig is the denomination given to the different species of mammals bunodontes, artiodactyls, non-ruminantes to which the domestic pig belongs.
They have 44 teeth, among them, curved canines and elongated lower incisors, forming a shovel; short toes with four toes covered by hooves, triangular profile head and cartilaginous snout. It originates from the boar, but exists almost everywhere as a domestic animal, and its flesh is greatly appreciated.
The gestation time of the sows is about 112 days, then giving birth to between six and twelve pups, which are called piglets, or piglets. A free pig can live for about 12 years.
