The snake (Ophiophagus hannah) or king snake is the largest known venomous snake, so that it can exceed 6 m in length. It is carnivorous and its diet consists basically of other snakes, venomous or not, but it does not despise lizards, eggs and small mammals. Its scientific name, "Ophiophagus" literally means "serpent-eater."
Although it does not have an overly virulent venom (with a toxicity lower than most of its "raw" najas), the snake has the ability to inoculate large amounts per bite, making it one of the most lethal snakes. At one bite it can release up to seven milliliters of neurotoxin, enough to kill a tiger or even an elephant.
When provoked, it raises a third of its body, expands the cover of its neck and begins to emit hisses similar to the roar of a dog. He remains in this position, begins to approach the aggressor in order to attack him.
