Flying Dragon: Draco is a genus of lizards of the family Agamidae, commonly called flying dragons, which are distinguished by their wing-shaped membranes that allow them to glide from tree to tree.
The Draco are insectivorous trees, and although they are not capable of self-propelled flying, they can plan distances up to 60 meters, losing only 10 meters in height, which is a considerable distance given that these lizards measure about 20 cm.
The only time one of these lizards venture on the ground is when a female is ready to lay the eggs - she descends from the tree where she is and makes a nest digging a hole in the ground with her head; then put between 3 and 5 eggs and refill the hole. She watches the nest for about 24 hours but then abandons it and has no contact with her offspring.
Flying snake: Chrysopelea paradisi is a species of snake that can be found in South and Southeast Asia, notorious for jumping out of the trees.
To be as aerodynamic as possible, the snake tilts the body between 25 and 30 degrees in relation to the airflow, allowing to travel distances up to 24 meters.
